SOME ASPECTS OF MODELING OF TRANSPORT SYSTEMS
Keywords:
transport system, sea and river transport system, modeling, multilevel model, situational-production modelAbstract
The problems of modeling transport systems on the example of the national system of sea and river transport are considered. Some general aspects, stages and principles of modeling of transport systems are analyzed. The basic requirements to modeling of transport systems for the decision of problems of functioning, development and perfection both of national system of sea and river transport, and its separate components are defined. By solving the problems, the author chose situational-production modeling of the system on the basis of the ontological approach (analysis and appropriate classification of elements of such a model).
Situational and production modeling of the system of sea and river transport will help to increase the degree of completeness and reliability of the assessment of the state of the system and forecast the state of the system by taking into account various factors affecting different levels and components of the system.
The analysis of approaches to modeling of transport systems is carried out. It is concluded that in order to optimize the adoption of appropriate management decisions for the development and improvement of the national system of sea and river transport, it is advisable to use the appropriate multilevel model.
Having considered various aspects of modeling of the system of sea and river transport, it is possible to draw a conclusion that the offered multilevel situational-production model of system promotes the analysis and forecasting of its states.
To ensure the efficient operation of system components, attention should be paid, in particular, to strategic planning of the sea and river transport system based on appropriate models, including the proposed situational-production multilevel model, to determine the number of enterprises of different levels and their specializations in accordance with market requirements for transport, logistics and other services provided by the system enterprises.
