Abstract

Technical operation of water transport is an important element in the functioning of a modern transport company. The use of new information technologies in the system of technical operation of water transport is an important way to increase its effectiveness. The processes of technical operation and the amount of information that are generated in this case are quite complex and significant, which requires the construction of an information-analytical system.

The complexity and versatility of the tasks that are solved in the transport company puts forward certain requirements for the information-analytical system, which is a complex organizational hierarchical system of its information resource.

The article designing the information resource of the information-analytical system for the technical operation of water transport. The levels of the hierarchical structure of the information-analytical system for ensuring the technical operation of water transport are considered. A model of the information-analytical system is built and decomposition of its tasks is carried out.

At the upper level, the structure of the information-analytical system for ensuring the technical operation of water transport is presented in the form of functional complexes: tasks of managing the use of the vessel, tasks of managing the technical condition of water transport, tasks of managing inventory of units and spare parts, tasks of managing production and economic activities, tasks of managing technical means services, tasks of identification of ships and units. Each complex is a logical object and is used to describe the functionality of the information-analytical system. The set of tasks is justified, information flows in this system are coordinated.

It is proved that the methods of applied system analysis and the component approach to the design of information resources of information-analytical systems make it possible to streamline and significantly simplify the design process, take into account specific requirements, optimize its structural and dynamic presentation, lay down the necessary solutions in accordance with the named specification for the information resource.
