Abstract

In the Ukrainian market there are few online stores of smoking pipes and accessories with a convenient interface and fast administration, and there is a demand for this type of product among the adherents of smoking and among collectors of smoking pipes.

There are several similar online smoking pipe stores. But all of them have such disadvantages as an uncomfortable and unattractive site design and an uncomfortable mobile version of a site with poor design. Therefore, it is relevant to develop a website for an online smoking pipe shop, the site of which does not have such disadvantages.

Web-site development for “Pipesfordudes.ua smoking pipe online store” was carried out on the Windows operating system. The site was developed in programming languages: HTML, PHP, CSS, Javascript, and a MySQL database was also created.

To develop the Web site, we used such tools as the Adobe Photoshop photo editor, the crossplatforms initial text editor Sublime Text, as well as an open-source PHP web application with a graphical web interface for administering the MySQL database - phpMyAdmin, using whose store database was designed.

In order for this software product to be displayed on the World Wide Web around the clock, it was placed on a virtual hosting www.zzz.com.ua. From local servers, it was decided to choose a local Denwer server.

A Web site with a user-friendly interface was created. The functioning of the user part and the administrative panel of the developed software product is described.

The software product has been tested on all pages, and it can be argued that it: meets the requirements that guided designers and developers; provides the correct actions for all possible input data; performs functions in an acceptable time; compatible with software and operating systems; meets customer needs.

A fully working online store with all the necessary functionality and the possibility of changes for work on a commercial basis has been developed.
