THE CREATION OF AVON AUTOMATED PRODUCT ACCOUNTING SYSTEM

Abstract

AVON is a cosmetics company that distributes its products exclusively through consultants (network marketing). AVON distributes its products through the direct sale method. Direct selling is the sale of goods and services to the end consumer outside the usual retail locations through an individual presentation of the goods or services. Among the companies that work by the direct selling method in Ukraine, AVON takes the first place in terms of the first recall of the company’s name by the respondents and among the leaders of direct selling companies whose products are popular among consumers of all age groups under the age of 45 years. Its competitors are such companies as Mary Kay, Oriflame, Faberlic, Amway. A good accounting information system, absorbing all the useful information, is the best staff assistant and a means of successful activity in a competitive environment. Therefore, it is urgent to create an attractive and informative information accounting system for Avon products.

For Avon, you need to develop an automated information system for product accounting: the menu structure of the information system for the product accounting Avon, the logical structure of the database, the physical data model, screen forms to display the necessary information.

The created logical data model, or logical scheme, is a model of the specific data domain, expressed independently of a specific database management product or storage technology (physical data model), but in terms of data structures such as relational tables and columns, object-oriented classes or XML tags.

The physical design of the database involves the deep use of specific database management technology. As an access control system, Microsoft Access was used - a database management system, a program that is part of the Microsoft Office suite of office programs.

Implementation of the created AVON product accounting information system will make it possible to obtain complete, reliable and timely information regarding accounting for the availability of cosmetic products at the office.
