In the article, the proposed technical solution can be used as a part of marine diesel power plants that operate on heavy grades of fuel. In this case, hydrogen production can be carried out on board the vessel by electrolysis. The use of small admixtures of hydrogen seems particularly useful when operating on partial and transient modes, ship activities in ports, bottlenecks, straits and in other areas with increased requirements for the environmental performance of power plants.
