Abstract

The article synthesizes the methods of increasing the reliability and functional characteristics of the engines of collective rescue crews of ships. Studies on the implementation of standard rescue operations have identified the most significant technical procedures nf stages that affect the efficiency and effectiveness of the rescue operation. The operational parameters of small diesels were determined, the improvement of the characteristics of which will ensure a more efficient and reliable implementation of the rescue operation. The priorities of technical and design solutions that improve the performance of MD, aimed at improving the launch and maneuverability of the EU RCP. In the course of the research a number of tasks were solved: development of a model of application of EU ZKP and determination of the main directions of improvement of its functional characteristics; development of criteria for assessing the effectiveness of the functioning of the EU, which allows to determine the degree of suitability of the ship's MD for installation on the ZKP; the method of improvement of functional characteristics of MD EU ZKP is offered; generalized features of functioning of MD EU in all possible conditions of realization of rescue operation; developed recommendations for improving the design and manufacturing technology of boat diesel parts, its starting and maneuvering qualities.
