Abstract

The problems of ecology and environmental protection are becoming more acute with the development of society and scientific and technological progress, which is rapidly increasing its impact on nature. All components of the biosphere are exposed to negative anthropogenic impact - soil, atmosphere and hydrosphere with flora and fauna living in them. The problem of pollution control from river vessels and river-sea vessels is complex and requires a comprehensive solution.

To date, there are fragmentary elements of waste treatment that are generated on the ship during the voyage. However, there are no comprehensive solutions to this problem. The problem of JI and HB clean-up is particularly acute. Methods of treatment of contaminated water and food waste from water transport during the voyage are proposed, provided that food waste is shredded and added to the JI.

As a result of the carried out researches efficiency of application of hydrodynamic cavitators both at clearing rather low-polluted waters (BV), and at clearing of strongly polluted JI is proved. As noted in the paper, sludge after JI treatment should be processed into biogas together with food waste. The duration of anaerobic fermentation is reduced by reducing the size of organic particles. Therefore, dispersion by hydrodynamic cavitation should accelerate the hydrolysis of organic compounds. Thus, the direction of further research is to study the effect of cavitation on the processes of anaerobic fermentation.
