Abstract

The air conditioning and cooling system is designed for artificial treatment of air, supplying it to the ship's premises in order to ensure and maintain comfortable air parameters (temperature, humidity, mobility, gas composition). The air conditioning system serves residential, general, medical and office premises with a long stay of crew members. The air conditioning and cooling system not only provides a comfortable stay of the crew on the ship, but also for oil and gas carriers provides removal of harmful impurities, air purification. This system requires control by the driver, so it is necessary to develop an appropriate model. Ventilation systems are extensive ship systems consisting of a variety of equipment, including large. Their design  closely related to the planning of the overall location of the ship's premises, and in some cases affects the architecture of the ship as a whole.

The ventilation system includes: electric fans (axial and centrifugal), air intake and air distribution devices, shut-off valves, silencers, heat exchangers and pipelines. The design of these systems is carried out taking into account the specific features of the vessel, its power plant and the specified area of navigation. The choice of ventilation type depends on the purpose of the premises, as well as the purpose and type of vessel, its energy capabilities. Different ship's premises, depending on the time people stay in them, the amount of heat, harmful gases and specific odors that can emit the mechanisms and systems installed in them, are equipped with one or another type of ventilation. From the correct placement of devices for receiving and discharging air. These devices largely depend on the efficiency of ventilation systems.
