UKRAINIAN PRACTICE OF THE LOGISTICS CONCEPTION’S LAUNCH «JUST-IN-TIME» FOR A PLANT

Abstract

In this article it is justified how helpful it is to use the logistics conception «just-in-time», and it singles out such main problems as the implementation of this conception into the operating process of some domestic enterprises. The advantages, which are achieved with it, were also defined.

The article under review describes the conception «just-in-time», which is popular nowadays among the foreign and domestic enterprises. The main features of this conception were defined; there is a listing of advantages and disadvantages of this logistics storekeeping strategy. Some Ukrainian companies, which make a practice of the system «just-in-time», were represented, and their experience was analyzed. The article draws conclusions about the conception’s launch into the domestic enterprises, and it identifies the problems they face, which are unreliability of the suppliers, insufficient skills of the executive, substantive and service staff, the obsolescence of the technical and technological base, political and economic instability.
