FEATURES OF MODERN DEVELOPMENT OF SEA PORTS OF UKRAINE

Abstract

The competitiveness of the entire national transport complex in the world market depends to a large extent on the efficiency of the operation of sea commercial ports.

Therefore, the purpose of the study is to characterize the current trends in the development of maritime trade ports by the key indicators of their functioning.

The article describes the current economic state of development and functioning of seaports. Analyzes the main results of financial-economic activities of sea ports: volumes of cargo handling, the financial position and condition of fixed assets, development of capital investment, the ratio of receivables and payables.
