Abstract

This paper discusses the probabilistic assessment of the effectiveness of academic performance as the main characteristic of the quality of the transfer of new educational information to students.

Special attention is given to assessing the quality of training of students in the navigational specialty.

On the basis of the statistical analysis apparatus, the article proposes the construction of a methodology for assessing the effectiveness of training, which includes taking into account the initial level of knowledge and the productivity of the student’s independent work.

The authors built a methodology to evaluate the effectiveness of training, the quality and overall level of academic performance, as well as the effectiveness of the work of the teacher and the readiness of the graduate to work.

The proposed assessment is more visual and reliable compared with only the average score.
